This is so messed-up. It’s already 9 at night and yet you’ve all just woken up.

Many of us hate it. I really keep hoping that some year we decide to just set the clocks 30- minutes forward or back as the season dictates and then just leave them there. There are bigger issues that need addressing first, but I'll be glad when it finally goes away.

For the record, I hate daylight savings.
Especially as a parent.
Also, we’re far enough north here that “trimming a foot off the bottom of the blanket, and sewing it back onto the top” doesn’t make the blanket any longer. It just makes us look like idiots.

Trust me, I don’t want or need sunrise at 6:30 in the morning, but I would like it to still be light out when I’m done working.
There is some interest in moving Massachusetts from Eastern Time to Atlantic Time, and just keeping it there year round. We’d need to get most or all of New England to agree to the plane though, it would be too disruptive if only we made the move.
